Higher Accuracy. Better Technology
The Franklin Sensors Family showcases the full width of studs, thanks to its advanced technology. The LED lights simultaneously track the stud's center and edges, allowing it to detect single studs, double studs, and irregular configurations that other stud finders cannot. With up to 13 accuracy-enhancing sensors, Franklin Sensors stud finders offer more precision than conventional models, which typically have only 1 or 2 sensors.
The Deep Scan, Always On feature automatically adjusts the stud finder for different wall textures, depths, and materials, ensuring reliable performance through interior sheetrock/drywall and more. Simply press and hold the button to start scanning; no calibration is required. Unlike conventional stud finders that can provide false readings, Franklin Sensors stud finders allow you to start scanning anywhere, even over a stud.
Proudly made in the USA, all Franklin Sensors products are designed and manufactured with a commitment to quality. We believe that high-quality products are essential for high-quality projects, and we strive for excellence throughout our production process.
The ProSensor product line offers a range of options to suit your specific needs. Each model features a unique combination of sensors, detection depth, and LED displays, catering to different budgets and preferences. Explore the features of the ProSensor M70, M90, M150, T13, and M210 to find the perfect stud finder for your next project.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What does the center green light mean? On certain models, the center LED will turn green to indicate the exact center of the stud.
What does the single blinking light mean? Several of our models now have a low battery indicator, where the second LED from the right will flash when the battery voltage is low. Replace with two brand new batteries.
Why do the LED lights flash when I first press the button? In certain models, the LED lights will flash when you first press the button to assure you that the unit is on and receiving power.
What batteries can I use? Not all of our models are compatible with rechargeable batteries. For best results, use two brand new, non-rechargeable, AA or AAA batteries (check instructions for details).
What materials do your stud finders detect through? Our stud finders work best through a single layer of sheetrock/drywall. While many customers have reported success using our stud finders through lath and plaster, detection is not guaranteed due to irregularities in plaster thickness. We do not recommend using our stud finders through stucco, exterior siding, double layers of sheetrock/drywall (common in condos, townhomes and home theaters), tile, wood flooring, carpet or roofing.
