The Aqara Water Leak Sensor, designed to meet the IP67 dustproof and waterproof rating, is guaranteed to function in humid and dusty environments. When connected to the Aqara Hub, it seamlessly integrates with other HomeKit-enabled accessories in the Apple Home app, simplifying your daily life.
When the sensor detects a leak, it can automatically trigger the Aqara Smart Plug to turn off the solenoid water valve, preventing further damage. Additionally, the Water Leak Sensor will sound an alarm on the Aqara Hub and send a notification to your phone once the water level reaches 0.5mm, ensuring prompt response to flooding incidents.
Engineered with advanced technology, the Aqara Water Leak Sensor boasts an anti-UV outer shell to protect against discoloration, and its energy-efficient design ensures the battery lasts over 2 years under normal usage. Remember to pull the battery tab out before use, and if the device does not work, check the battery status.
Please note that the Aqara Water Leak Sensor requires an Aqara Hub, sold separately, and supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks for the Hub M2/M1S/E1/M1S Gen2 and Camera Hub G2H Pro/G2H, as well as 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi for the Camera Hub G3. Wired Ethernet connection via RJ45 is also available for the Hub M2. Ensure the sensor is within 400 inches of the Aqara Zigbee hub, and the hub is within the same range from the Wi-Fi router, all on the same local area network (LAN).
